The North Downs Way National
Trail is the premier walking route in Kent and Surrey. It runs for 153 miles
from Farnham in Surrey through the Surrey Hills and Kent Downs Areas of
Outstanding National Beauty (AONBs) to Dover in Kent with a loop taking in Canterbury.
With the Trail having recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary, the decision has been taken to improve the
signage in Kent. Oak
fingerposts will be installed at every part of the route in Kent where the
Trail leaves the public highway and goes onto public rights of way. |

The authority has a
responsibility to ensure Kent has a highly skilled and professional
children’s workforce, including multi-agency partners in order to
support the achievement and development of all children and young people in
Kent, particularly the most vulnerable in our society. The authority offers a CPD programme

The
solution we are requiring will need to support the management,
administration, communication and marketing of events with the ability to
link with financial systems used by Kent County Council. The solution will need to
provide organisations and individual staff the ability to track professional
development, support the performance review process, monitor and evaluate
development targets and report on progress and impact to local and national
partners. The aim is to use web
based technology to service our customers who are employed in our 600 schools
and 750 Early Years Settings as well as Governors, Network Childminders,
Social Care Workers and Health Workers along with some private, voluntary and
independent sector staff. |
